The 212th Attack Battalion, also known as the 212th Empire Battalion or simply the 212th Battalion, was a clone trooper battalion of the Der'kal Army, a clone army engineered to serve the Der'kal Empire under the leadership of Clone Marshal Commander CC-2224 "Cody" during the Federation-Der'kal War, a conflict between the Der'kal Empire and the United Federation of Planets.
As its name suggests, the 212th specialized in invasions, frontal attacks, besiegements and other offensive scenarios. Therefore, they often acted as the main offensive force in major battles, such as spearheading the Empire's deployment on Federation planets. Serving under the 7th Sky Corps, the battalion was led by Clone Marshal Commander "Cody." The 212th Recon Division was a special detachment of the battalion, which also consisted of various units including Foxtrot Group and Ghost Company. A full company of Roon's military defense forces was transferred to the 212th during the early days of the Federation-Der'kal War, expanding the battalion to include Roonian soldiers for the Battle of Abrion Bridge.
