In an alternate mirror universe, Alexander Honigsberg was a male Terran serving as an engineering officer in the Imperial Starfleet in the 24th century.

Biography[]

By 2368, he served as chief engineer of the ISS Cairo under Captain Edward Jellico. When Leslie Wong came aboard as executive officer that year, he remarked to her that he had been serving on the Cairo for some time, during which he had become used to "working extra shifts for no good reason."

Wong considered his comments borderline insubordinate toward Captain Jellico, but let them pass; she soon considered him a very competent department leader.

In 2371, he was assigned as chief engineer of the ISS Voyager and supervised her ill-fated shakedown cruise. After discovering a design flaw in the bio-neural circuitry, Honigsberg and an engineering team from the ISS Hood was able to restore enough functionality on Voyager that the vessel was able to return to Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards for additional repairs.

After repairs were completed, Voyager was assigned to track down and eliminate all rebel Maquis activity inside the Badlands and in order to begin Imperial expansion and subjugation of the Delta Quadrant. Shortly after entering the Badlands, Voyager was pulled 75,000 light years across space into the Delta Quadrant by an entity known as the Caretaker. Honigsberg was killed when Voyager was pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.
