She chose her team, who included Captain Alicia Vega, Sergeant Dusty Mehra and Dr. Alison Porter. She and her team were investigating Michael's experiments on another planet. She felt she needed assistance, and called in Colonel John Sheppard, Captain Typhuss Kira and Dr. Carson Beckett, who had first hand experience with Michael's work.
