The Blink drive is a technology that allows instant travel over any distance. It is superior to faster than light, as that type of travel requires time to get to its destination. However issues will arise with the Blink drive if it is not properly calibrated. To work it requires two parts, the drive cards and the blink drive adapter. With the adapter, the device can be fitted to nearly any vessel, allowing for very convenient transfer.
Dangers[]
Due to the experimental and complicated nature of the blink drive, improper use and faulty calculations can lead to dangerous issues. Transportation to alternate universes can arise if calculations are done incorrectly, and if the drive is not calibrated for the size of a vessel and/or does not receive enough power, it can result in the creation of a pocket of null space around the vessel, one which will eventually collapse on itself, destroying anything within.
