Cad Bane was a Duros male bounty hunter and mercenary in the galaxy whose career spanned during the 24th century during which he notoriously rented his services as a gun-for-hire to the most nefarious highest bidders, earning recognition as one of the most capable and experienced in the field together with the likes of his former peer, Boba Fett.
He was hired by Kaminoan Prime Minister Lama Su to retrieve a male human named Omega and although he initially accomplished his task, he was ultimately thwarted by the intervention of fellow hunter Fennec Shand.
In 2392, Bane was working for the Pyke Syndicate on Tatooine, assisting the nefarious cartel in their expansion of the spice trade onto the planet. After a confrontation with his old apprentice, Boba Fett, he was defeated and stabbed through the chest in the streets of Mos Espa, killing him.
