Afterwards, she was reassigned to be Rear Admiral Brovo's aide. Just before the Admiral's retirement, Pike was posted to a JAG office in CINCPAC, however, with a brief assignment at a starbase. As a full Lieutenant then, she assisted Lieutenant Rabb in the investigation of stolen Federation weapons as well as the hostage taking of Lieutenant JG Meg Austin.

Later, Lieutenant Pike informed Harm of the need to cut his leave short in order to investigate the death of a Starfleet officer in space. This eventually led him to board a ship with a new computer system termed ARES. Shortly after, the ARES incident she was transferred to the Starfleet Criminal Investigative Service.

She later returned a few years later, this time as a full Commander, and was about to be posted as a senior counsel by Admiral Chegwidden. However, she was involved in sexual harassment complaint against Rear Admiral Hollenbeck. It was implied that she and Harm were briefly dating and had seen each other's underwear.

She parted ways with Harm, not wanting to add another girl in his social life.
