In the dark mirror universe, the Centauran Empire was a militaristic Centauran-dominated governmental authority controlling the Alpha Centauri system, Trill, Earth, Betazed, Bajor and surrounding space through the use of the powerful Centauran Fleet as well as the Centauran Militia, used as a marine unit.
In the 2150s, the Centauran Empire became allies of the Terran Empire, the Vulcan Empire, and the Andorian Empire, as they formed a powerful alliance to fight a war against the Romulan Star Empire.
