Darwin is a female Human Starfleet officer aboard the USS Enterprise.
Biography[]
In 2259, she replaced Pavel Chekov as the ship's navigator when he replaced Montgomery Scott as chief engineer. Darwin remained at her station throughout the hunt for John Harrison and the subsequent battle with the USS Vengeance. She followed Hikaru Sulu's lead in defying Spock's orders to abandon ship and remained at her station until (unknown to her) James T. Kirk realigned the warp core. A relieved Darwin observed that it was a miracle, prompting Spock to comment that there were no such things.
Following the destruction of the Enterprise at Altamid in 2263, Darwin was then assigned to the USS Endeavour. She continued there as navigator when Captain Kirk took command of the ship.
