The Der'kal fighter was a fighter model used by the Der'kal Empire, a specialized version of the Der'kal fighter. It was a two-seater unlike the previous TIE models, and was outfitted with enhanced weapons and sensor systems as well as warp drives and deflector shields. This Der'kal fighter was reserved for members of the Empire's elite Special Forces. On the lower side of the vehicle, directly below the primary fuel tank, was a turret containing a pair of disruptor cannons and a mag-pulse warhead launcher.

A two-seat strike fighter used by the Der'kal Empire's elite Special Forces pilots, the fighter boasts weapons far more powerful than a standard TIE, combining disruptor cannons with a heavy turret and warhead launcher. Special Forces Ties have warp drives, deflector shields and high-yield cells that provide additional power to on board systems. These versatile attack ships are used for everything from reconnaissance to combat operations.
