Frontier Day

Frontier Day was an annual Federation celebration, a holiday dedicated to the launch of the Enterprise (NX-01) in April 2151. This event was considered as the beginning of modern Starfleet. In the year 2401, Starfleet planned a fleet parade for the 250th anniversary. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation")

Frontier Day ships

In the 25th century, the Borg Queen masterminded a conspiracy between the Borg Collective and rogue Changelings. (PIC episode: "The Bounty")

The parade began with the emergence of the USS Enterprise-F from Sol Station. Fleet Admiral Elizabeth Shelby was in command and announced the demonstration of fleet formation mode. The Borg Queen co-opted Jack Crusher and assumed control over the Starfleet ships at Earth. All personnel under 25 had been surreptitiously assimilated by using transporters. The Borg drones then attacked all older personnel. (PIC episode: "Võx")

The USS Titan-A, under the command of acting captain Seven of Nine, attempted to stop the assimilated fleet from overwhelming Sol Station and Earth's defenses. Meanwhile, the hastily relaunched USS Enterprise-D confronted the Borg Queen's cube hidden in the atmosphere of Jupiter and recovered Crusher. (PIC episode: "The Last Generation")
