- "He's not real. He's an urban legend concocted by the Gotham SCIS department to scare criminals."
- — Oliver Queen
The Gotham City SCIS Department (GC SCIS) is the SCIS department of Gotham City.
History[]
The Gotham City SCIS Department was founded in 2350.
In December 2391, when Barry Allen (in Oliver Queen's reality) picked a fight with men claiming to be from the Gotham Tourism Bureau who tried to mug them at, nearby GC SCIS officers arrived to the scene. Realizing that they were arresting the former vigilante of Star City, the officers took extra precaution by calling in a S.W.A.T. team. Barry (Oliver) eventually surrendered and let himself be arrested, along with Oliver and Kara. Later that night, a police officer stationed at the department informed the three of their bail, which was paid by Kate Kane.
After Catherine Hamilton-Kane's death, the GC SCIS a call that informed them that Jacob Kane was in the parking lot of the Orpheum Theatre and went there in order to arrest him for Catherine's murder.

Behind the scenes[]
- In the DC comics, the Gotham City Police Department is the municipal police force of Gotham City with commissioner Jim Gordon directing its operations.
- When the police officers were arresting Barry, Kara, and Oliver, an officer tried to call in a S.W.A.T. team at Nolan and Burton. This is a reference to Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton, filmmakers who created their own cinematic interpretations of Batman.
