A team led by James Olsen/Guardian operates in National City of Earth Thirty-Eight. The team protects National City from anyone who means to cause it harm. It consists of Lyra Strayd and formerly Winn Schott. It also works with the D.E.O. and Supergirl's team, which are the team's biggest allies.

James's camera gets destroyed by criminals who obtained alien weaponry supplied by Cadmus. Winn tries if he stays out of being a crime fighter until it is ready.
