The Helicarrier class are advanced flying command centers that double as aircraft carriers in a possible version of the 22nd century.
History[]
Technical data[]
Energy generation[]
It possesses a number of heavy fusion reactors, fueled by deuterium, which utilises a nuclear fusion process to generate energised plasma.
The class features two nuclear power plant reactors. The reactors produce heat through nuclear fission which heats water. This is then passed through a number of turbine assemblies which are shared by the two reactors.
Propulsion[]
These are kept elevated by giant circular jet engines, allowing them to 'never come down' once in the air. It also features twenty aft impulse thruster units which generate forward thrust.
Helicarriers are also capable of entering orbit which makes them one step from being space-bourne.
Tactical[]
Defensive systems[]
- Hull polarisation: In lieu of regular deflector shields, they incorporate a polarization matrix in its hull plating to minimize potential damage from weapons fire and other space hazards. Through the application of electromagnetic power, the metal hull of the ship can be made several orders of magnitude harder than it is in its non-polarized state.
Weapon systems[]
Cannons[]
The class is armed with multiple long-range dorsal and ventral guns that fire rapid projectiles at a target.
Torpedoes[]
It is fitted with six Jericho missile launchers as well as two nuclear torpedo launchers.
Embarked crafts[]
- 16 Quinjet class jets
- Multiple reinforced Alcatraz class containment modules
Computer systems[]
They can access every wireless accessible camera on the planet allowing for real-time surveillance, including the likes of phones and computers.
Helicarrier class vessels are capable of using satellites to read and identify an individual's DNA.

Trivia[]
- MACO relied on Helicarriers as highly strategic mobile bases from which they could perform a number of effective reconnaissance, aircraft deployment, or direct strike operations.
