In the dark mirror universe, Hoshi Sato (2129-2155) was a female Terran who planned to become Empress of the Terran Empire in 2155, until she was killed by Charles Tucker III.
Early life[]
Sato was born in Kyoto, Japan in 2129, and spent most of her youth there. She was knowledgable in anthropology, diplomacy and computer programming; Sato was considered very cunning and treacherous.
The Enterprise[]
As an adult, she served as communications officer aboard the ISS Enterprise. An opportunistic and duplicitous woman, she ingratiated herself to both Captain Maximilian Forrest and his rival, Jonathan Archer. Sato aided Archer in commandeering the USS Defiant in 2155; however, she betrayed him by seducing his personal guard, Travis Mayweather, into poisoning the captain.
Sato then took command of the Defiant and, declaring herself Empress, attacked Starfleet and forced the Empire's military to recognize her as leader, but she was stopped by Charles Tucker III before she had the chance to become Empress and Sato was killed on the bridge along with her guard Travis Mayweather. When Tucker strangled Sato and then broke her neck in front of the bridge crew, as he also avenged Archer's death.
Since her strong hatred with the Vulcans including T'Pol, she was going to wiped them out, along with both alien and Terran rebels, if she was going to be Empress.
