The warship IGS Kumari II was an Andorian Kumari-class battle cruiser of the Andorian Imperial Guard active in the 24th century. The Kumari was commanded by General Thy'lek Shran.
The ship was named after the first warship Kumari, the vessel was commanded by Commander Thy'lek Shran in the 22nd century.
History[]
In the year 2354, the Kumari entered service in service to the Andorian Imperial Guard. In 2354, Shran was promoted to commander of the warship Kumari. In 2379, the Kumari fought in the Xindi War helping the Federation fleet during battles and in 2384 the Kumari fought in the Federation-Der'kal War helping the Federation fleet during battles.
In 2387, Typhuss contacted Shran aboard the Kumari for help after his sister Phoebe Halliwell was captured by the Der'kal and Cole Turner, to go on a rescue mission because Starfleet wouldn't commit resources for the mission.
After being defeated by the Der'kal fleet, Shran was against Captain Chakotay taking command of the fleet while Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway was in sickbay. The Kumari and the Federation fleet were able to rescue Phoebe from the Der'kal.
In 2389, the Kumari would aid the Federation once again during the Federation-Terran War with the Terran Empire from the alternate mirror universe. (Star Trek: Intrepid)
In 2391, Shran would aid the Federation once again when Lex Luthor planned to attack Earth. (VOY movie: "Typhuss Making Amends With His Friends")
