Ilainus is a female Human Amazon Elite archer from Mycenae. She was Mavican's favorite archer, her girlfriend and a member of the elite archers. She was one of many that was loyal to Queen Gabrielle, Queen Ephiny and King Typhuss during the 2390s.
She was a skilled fighter who Ephiny favored above anyone else. She helped Xena, Gabrielle and Typhuss rescue Eve from men attacking her. (XWP: TNA episode: "New Beginnings")
Later she helped Gabrielle and Typhuss rescue Xena from the ruthless warlord Marmax who turned Xena evil again. When Marmax and Xena planned on killing Gabrielle, Eve and Typhuss she helped to protect them from being killed alongside her fellow Amazons.
Sometime later Ilainus helped protect Gabrielle, Typhuss and Eve from Marmax and Xena what became known as the Battle of Marmax Pass. (XWP: TNA episode: "Xena's Temptation")
