Synopsis[]
While on a training mission the crew of the USS Anubis has been caught in an unknown gravitational singularity and can't break free.

The USS Anubis travels at warp.
INT. BEDROOM AREA/CAPTAIN CLARKSON'S QUARTERS, USS ANUBIS
Kyle wakes up as he looks out the window at the stars streaking by, as he gets ready to go on duty.
INT. MESS HALL, USS ANUBIS
The crew are eating breakfast.
CARL [scoffs]: I rather have real eggs and bacon not reconstituted food.
ASHLEY: Its the best that we have to deal with Carl.
Carl looks at her.
CARL: I wish we had a food replicator.
RACHEL: I wonder what our training mission's are going to be?
T'VAREN: Logic dictates that whatever they are it will be the test of our skills as crewmen aboard a starship.
ZACH: You really know how to make us feel better T'Varen.
[COM CHIRPS] As Commander Del's voice comes over the com.
LCDR. DEL [com voice]: Cadets report to the briefing room
CARL: That's us.
They get up from their chairs and EXITS the mess hall.

EXT. WARP SPACE [OPTICAL]
[EPISODE NOTES: OPENING CREDITS FALL OVER OPENING SCENES]
The Anubis travels at warp.
INT. CAPTAIN'S READY ROOM/SITUATION ROOM, USS ANUBIS
ANGLE - WALL MONITOR [OPTICAL]
shows the training mission for the cadets.
CPT. CLARKSON: Our training missions will consist of a scientific survey with the Aldebaran Observation Laboratory and then we'll rendezvous with the medical vessel USS Haven to provide medical aid to the Terron IV colony then we'll head to Starbase 115 for wargames with the USS Enterprise any questions?
CDT. BEATHERS: A scientific survey mission? And then a medical aid mission? I thought this was a scout tactical vessel sir?
CPT. CLARKSON: It is but we're also Starfleet officers Mister Beather and we will conduct these missions to the best of our abilities.
CDT. BEATHER: Yes, sir.
EXT. ALDEBARAN SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
A burst of light as the USS Anubis slips out of warp and approaches the Aldebaran Observatory Outpost.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
The cadets are at their stations.
CPT. CLARKSON: Cadet Bains hail the outpost.
Cadet Bains turns to the communications console.
CDT. BAINS: The outpost is hailing us.
CPT. CLARKSON: On screen.
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the command center of the outpost.
CPT. CLARKSON: I'm Kyle Clarkson Captain of the starship USS Anubis.
DR. JONES [viewer]: Anubis, welcome to the Aldebaran system
CPT. CLARKSON: Thank you Doctor Jones we'll provide assistance anyway we can.
DR. JONES [viewer]: Very well then
[TRANSMISSION ENDS] As Captain Clarkson walks to the Captain's chair.
CPT. CLARKSON: Let's get started with the survey mission Cadet Weir.
Cadet Weir turns to the science station.
CDT. WEIR: Yes, sir beginning sensor scans of the system now.
ANGLE - SCIENCE MONITOR [OPTICAL]
shows the Aldebaran system.

EXT. ALDEBARAN SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Anubis is on its survey mission.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
Cadet Weir turns from her station and reports.
CDT. WEIR: Captain, I've got some very interesting information apparently this star has been going on for some time now but it appears to have some unique radiation particles.
Captain Clarkson looks over at her.
CPT. CLARKSON: That's what every other survey mission has discovered.
CUT TO:
INT. SICKBAY, USS ANUBIS
Doctor Takahashi and Cadet Willis are working on the medical equipment.
DR. TAKAHASHI: We've got 12 vials of morphine, 13 vials of heavy, low, and mild sedatives, and 11 vials of hyrondlin we've got a few cortical stimulators.
CDT. WILLIS: That's a lot.
DR. TAKAHASHI: Yeah, we have to make sure that we're prepared for incoming wounded officers.
CDT. WILLIS: I am prepared Doctor.
DR. TAKAHASHI: Good.
EXT. ALDEBARAN SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Anubis travels through the system at impulse.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
Cadet Weir turns from her console.
CDT. WEIR: We've completed the survey mission sir.
CPT. CLARKSON: Very well then transmit our findings to the outpost Mister Beech as soon as we're done set course for the Terron System warp 6.
Both Cadets comply with their orders.
EXT. ALDEBARAN SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Anubis turns to port as her warp engines powered up and shot off into the distance into a burst of light.
INT. CADET BEATHERS QUARTERS, USS ANUBIS
Carl sits on the bed looking at the PADD of his next assignment.
[QUARTER DOORS CHIMED] As he puts the PADD on his chest.
CARL: Come.
[QUARTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As Rachel stands in the door frame.
RACHEL: Hey, I hope I'm not disturbing you?
CARL: No, you're fine.
She enters and walks over to him and they start making out.
EXT. WARP SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis travels to the Terron system.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
Captain Clarkson sits in the Captain's chair as he reviews a PADD and hands it to the ensign.
LCDR. DEL: These cadets are doing well for their first time.
Kyle turns to him.
CPT. CLARKSON: Yeah, they are so far Zerub but Mister Beathers isn't thrilled with me as the Captain of this vessel.
Captain Clarkson sits back in the Captain's chair.
[BLACKOUT, END OF ACT 2]
Act 3[]

EXT. TERRON SYSTEM/TERRON IV ORBIT [OPTICAL]
The USS Anubis joins the Jonas Salk-class medical frigate USS Haven NCC-H1878.
CPT. CLARKSON'S [voice over]: Captain's log stardate 7190.3, The Anubis has rendezvous with the USS Haven to conduct a medical transfer to the colony to help out with their medical issue, after we've completed this supply run we'll head to Starbase 115 to conduct wargames with the USS Enterprise
INT. CAPTAIN'S READY ROOM/SITUATION ROOM, USS ANUBIS
Kyle sits at the desk.
CPT. CLARKSON [to recorder]: So far my first tour of command is running smoothly but its just that one of the cadets a Carl Beathers questioned our training missions, I know he's young but he should know that its disrespectful to question a commanding officers orders.
INT. CARGO BAY, USS ANUBIS
Everyone's getting the medical supplies prep to be transported down to the surface.
DR. TAKAHASHI: Is this the last of the medical supplies to be taken down to the surface.
CDT. WILLIS: Yes Doctor.
Doctor Takahashi walks over to the com panel and toggles it.
DR. TAKAHASHI [to com]: Takahashi to bridge the last of the medical supplies are prep for delivery.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
CPT. CLARKSON [to com]: Thank you Doctor Mister Beech take us down.
CDT. BEECH: Aye, sir.
Cadet Beech taps commands into the helm station.
EXT. TERRON IV SURFACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis heads down to the main colony.
INT. VARIOUS DECKS, USS ANUBIS
[SHIP SHUDDERS] As the crew braces themselves against the bulkheads.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [BLUE ALERT]
The bridge crew are bracing themselves as the ship heads to the main colony.
EXT. MAIN COLONY, TERRON IV SURFACE - DAY
The Anubis extends her landing struts and the ship lands, after it lands the back door lowers as Captain Clarkson is wearing a tactical vest armed with a type-2 hand phaser in the holster as he and his landing party steps down.
CPT. CLARKSON: I'm Kyle Clarkson Captain of the starship Anubis we're here with your medical supplies.
TERRON COLONY LEADER: Thank you Captain we've been waiting for these supplies for along time whatever this virus is it seems to be very tough to get rid of.
DR. TAKAHASHI: Maybe, I can provide help I'm Saskai Takahashi Chief medical officer of the Anubis I've studied this virus at Starfleet Academy and I think I can come up with a cure.
TERRON COLONY LEADER: Right this way.
She follows him to the medical area.
CPT. CLARKSON: We'll head back up to provide overwatch good luck Saskai.
DR. TAKAHASHI: Thank you sir.
Kyle walks up the ramp as the door moves up and the Anubis lifts off and heads back up to space.
EXT. TERRON SYSTEM/TERRON IV ORBIT [OPTICAL]
The Anubis is next to the Haven.
INT. CAPTAIN'S READY ROOM/SITUATION ROOM, USS ANUBIS
ANGLE - MONITOR [OPTICAL]
shows the ready room of the Enterprise and Captain Branson.
CPT. BRANSON [monitor]: How's it going Kyle?
CPT. CLARKSON: So far its going well the cadets are very determined and they know their jobs but some are a bit hesitate to trust me as their commanding officer.
CPT. BRANSON [monitor]: Give them time I'm sure that they'll come around soon just don't rush it
CPT. CLARKSON: I'll take that under advisement how are things going aboard the Enterprise?
CPT. BRANSON [monitor]: Oh you know same old same old we're exploring an interstellar dust cloud currently just a routine assignment as usual, then we'll proceed to Starbase 115 to rendezvous with you and the Anubis
CPT. CLARKSON: You've heard from Jamie?
CPT. BRANSON [monitor]: A few times she's surprised that you're placed in command of a starship but she's also confident that you can do it
[COM BEEPS] As Commander Del comes over the com.
LCDR. DEL [com voice]: Captain Clarkson report to the bridge
CPT. CLARKSON: That's my cue.
CPT. BRANSON [monitor]: Good Luck, Branson out
[TRANSMISSION ENDS] As Kyle gets up from the chair and walks to the door.
CUT TO:
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
[READY ROOM DOOR WHOOSHED OPENED] As Kyle walks onto the bridge.
CPT. CLARKSON: Report Commander.
LCDR. DEL: Cadet Weir has detected a Klingon battle cruiser on an intercept course with us.
CPT. CLARKSON: What type of battle cruiser?
ANGLE - SCIENCE MONITOR [OPTICAL]
shows the Klingon cruiser schematic.
CDT. WEIR: K't'inga-class.
LCDR. DEL: Must be a new design of battle cruiser.
CPT. CLARKSON: RED ALERT! SHIELDS UP!
[KLAXONS BLARING]
INT. VARIOUS DECKS, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
[KLAXONS BLARING] As the crew heads to their battle stations.
INT. ARMORY, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
Both Cadets Frye and Carver load a torpedo into the launcher and locks it off.
CDT. FRYE [to com]: Bridge torpedo launcher loaded sir.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
LT. LEWIS: Phaser banks are fully charged sir.
CPT. CLARKSON: On screen.
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the Klingon warship on approach.
[DRAMATIC STING] As Captain Clarkson sits in the Captain's chair.
EXT. TERRON SYSTEM/TERRON IV ORBIT [OPTICAL]
The T'Kuvma approaches the Anubis and Haven.

Act 4[]
FADE IN
EXT. TERRON SYSTEM/TERRON IV ORBIT [OPTICAL]
The T'Kuvma faces the Anubis as she's defending the USS Haven.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
CPT. CLARKSON: Cadet Bains hail the T'Kuvma.
Cadet Bains taps commands into the communication console.
CDT. BAINS: No response sir.
CPT. CLARKSON: Helm standby for evasive maneuvers.
CDT. BEECH: Aye, sir.
LT. LEWIS: Detecting an energy spike!
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the Klingon cruiser launching a torpedo.
CPT. CLARKSON: All power to forward shields!
[BOOM!] A huge shower of sparks erupt from ceiling.
LT. LEWIS: Shields down to 87%!
CPT. CLARKSON: Evasive maneuvers delta seven.
Cadet Beech taps commands into the helm console.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis turns to port as she continues firing her phasers as several blue energy beams strike the shields of the cruiser, as the Klingon battle cruiser starts its pursuit of the Archer-Class vessel firing its photon torpedoes.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
Cadet Beech taps commands into the helm station.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis dodges the torpedoes and brings the ship about to speed towards the cruiser as it dodges the disruptor bolts and torpedo volleys.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
CPT. CLARKSON: FIRE!
Lieutenant Lewis presses the firing button.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis unleashed a volley of phasers as the beams punch through the port side of the shields and score several hits on the outer hull causing massive explosions to erupt from the hit as the Anubis flies away.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS [RED ALERT]
LT. SMART [re: scanner scope]: The Klingon vessel has sustained heavy damage their port disruptors are offline.
CDT. BEECH: She's turning to leave at warp 3 should we follow?
CPT. CLARKSON: No, let them go.
EXT. WARP SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis travels at warp to Starbase 115.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ANUBIS
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the bridge of the Enterprise and Captain Branson.
CPT. BRANSON [viewer]: Jess, told me that you chased off a Klingon battle cruiser?
CPT. CLARKSON: Yeah, we did it was touch and go for awhile but we were able to disable it.
CPT. BRANSON [viewer]: That's good Kyle we're currently here at Starbase 115 awaiting your arrival to begin the wargames, don't worry we don't plan to go easy on you guys we're going to give you our best
CPT. CLARKSON [smiles]: That's what I expect John.
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows static start to fill the transmission.
CPT. CLARKSON: Cadet Bains can you clear it up?
Cadet Bains taps commands into the communication console.
CDT. BAINS: I'm trying sir but something seems to be blocking our communication system.
[BOOM!] As everyone braces themselves.
CPT. CLARKSON: What was that?
CDT. WEIR: Some sort of gravitational wave sir its increasing in strength.
CPT. CLARKSON: Mister Beech, drop us out of warp.
Cadet Beech taps commands into the helm station.
CDT. BEECH: Helm's not responding sir!
[BOOM!]
[KLAXONS BLARING] As Captain Clarkson presses the com panel.
CPT. CLARKSON [to com]: This is the Captain to all decks batten down the hatches and secure all primary systems brace for impact!
EXT. WARP SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Anubis is swallowed up by a strange looking portal.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise is at station keeping next to Starbase 115 a Watchtower-class starbase.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE
At the communications console Lieutenant Smith taps commands into it.
LT. SMITH: I've gone over the entire system sir there's nothing wrong with it.
CPT. BRANSON: Hail them again.
She taps commands into the communications console.
LT. SMITH: No response sir.
Then Commander T'Lar reports.
LCDR. T'LAR [re: scanner scope]: Captain, long range sensors have detected a brief surge of gravitational emissions bearing 2-2-4 mark 12.
Lieutenant Mitchell reports.
LT. MITCHELL: Captain, that's along the Anubis's course.
CPT. BRANSON: Yes it is.
CDR. IVANOVA: The question is where did they go?
CPT. BRANSON: I'm not sure Kara set course for their last known position inform Starfleet Command of the situation.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise departs from the Starbase as her warp engines power up and she shot off into the distance into a burst of light.
