Early life[]
Jack Mason was born on April 12th, 2345 in Seymour, Tennessee to both Nicole and Paul Mason. Jack enjoyed his childhood with his brother Tyler and his family.
Starfleet service career[]
Starfleet Academy[]
After a tour with the Marines Jack enrolled into Starfleet Academy as a security officer and made some new friends along the way and met his future wife and Enterprise crewmate Courtney James who was at the Academy in the engineering department.
Jack later graduated in 2356.
Starbase 211[]
In 2356 he was posted to Starbase 211 along the Federation-Cardassian border during the Border Wars where he met his future commanding officer and Enterprise crewmate Branson.
But Jack didn't enjoy his time aboard the Starbase he wanted to see action during the war he was later reassigned to the USS Zeus.
USS Zeus[]
In 2362, at the rank Ensign Jack was posted to the Ambassador-class USS Zeus as a security officer and he saw some action during the war with the Cardassians but not much it was mostly border patrol.
He was later reassigned.
USS Odyssey[]
At the end of the war Jack was posted to one of the newly built Galaxy-class USS Odyssey as an assistant to the chief tactical officer.
Jack kind of enjoyed his assignment but didn't as much because it was the golden era of Starfleet where it was everlasting peace in the galaxy.
USS Cairo[]
He was later reassigned to the Cairo under the command of Captain Edward Jellico Jack was taken a back by Jellico's command style.
He was later promoted to the rank of Lieutenant but lost it due to his outspoken views of his Captain's command style and he was later reassigned.
Starbase 375[]
Jack Mason was assigned to Starbase 375 along the Bajoran border as a security officer.
