In the dark mirror universe, Jean-Luc Picard is a male Terran Imperial Starfleet officer in the 24th century, who was the Captain of the ISS Enterprise-D and the ISS Enterprise-E in the 24th century. He was a major player in the Terran-Cardassian War. After the war, Picard declared himself as the new Emperor of the Terran Empire, until it ended in the early 2380s.

This version of the mirror Jean-Luc Picard was born in La Barre, France, Earth in 2305, like his primary universe counterpart.
By 2333, Captain Picard was in command of the ISS Stargazer, perhaps after killing Captain Daithan Ruhalter. In 2354, Picard murdered his first officer and friend, Jack Crusher. The Stargazer was lost in 2355, after Picard's victory over the Ferengi at the Battle of Maxia.
