In an alternate mirror universe, Khan Noonien Singh was a male Augment. He was a notorious enemy of James T. Kirk.
In 2277, Khan and his followers escaped from Ceti Alpha V and hijacked the Terran starship ISS Reliant. With the Reliant, Khan and his followers went to Spacelab Regula I. There, they killed all the Imperial scientists except for Dr. Carol Marcus and her son David and also Jedda (who would be killed on the planetoid). Then, the ISS Reliant encountered the ISS Enterprise. The Reliant attacked the Enterprise and damaged her. Admiral James T. Kirk used the prefix code to order the Reliant to lower her shields. The Enterprise then returned fire on the Reliant, damaging her. The Reliant retreated.
Khan later stole the Genesis Device prototype from the Regula I planetoid. Later, the Reliant pursued the ISS Enterprise into the Mutara Nebula. There, the final battle began. The ISS Enterprise disabled the Reliant, defeating Khan. But, in a last act of vengeance, Khan activated the Genesis Device. Captain Spock went into the engine room and repaired the warp engines, sacrificing himself. The ISS Enterprise then warped away as the Reliant and the Genesis Device exploded, killing Khan.
