The Kumari was an aquatic vessel, the first Andorian ice cutter to circumnavigate the world of Andoria. Years later, the name was used for the Andorian Empire's battle cruiser IGS Kumari.
History[]
The Kumari circumnavigated Andoria during Andor's Age of Exploration.
In the year 2154, Commander Hravishran th'Zoarhi told Captain Jonathan Archer, a Human, about the historic ice-cutter, the namesake for the IGS Kumari.
In November 2382, Commander Tuvok reminded Lieutenant Pava Ek'Noor sh'Aqabaa that the Andorians had advanced considerably since the ice-cutter Kumari circumnavigated Andoria.
Alternate timelines[]
In an alternate timeline where the Vulcan remained a violent and emotional species, the IUES Kumari II's commanding officer, Commander Thelin th'Valrass, created a display of his ship's seven predecessors in the briefing room. The display remained in place after Hikaru Sulu assumed command.
