Pulse weapons are a type of energy weapon utilized on the Aurora-class battleships and cruisers utilized by the Asurans, though they are presumably equipped on the Lantean variants of these craft as well.

Overview

Visually, these weapons resemble bright yellow bolts of energy. When fired in succession, they are capable of destroying a shielded Traveler generational ship or heavily damaging a Wraith Hive ship with several shots. These weapons are, however, less effective against the advanced Asgard shields of the Daedalus-class vessels. (SGA episodes: "Aurora", "Inferno", "Be All My Sins Remember'd", "Lifeline", "This Mortal Coil")
