In 2373, Larson helped patrol the ship with Chakotay during the Nyrian takeover, after most of the crew had already been translocated off. Larson disappeared when Chakotay stopped to access the computer. (VOY episode: "Displaced")

Larson also appeared in the holodeck program Insurrection Alpha as a hologram loyal to Captain Janeway's forces. He was locked down in his quarters, and later forced out, by Seska and B'Elanna Torres, and taken to cargo bay 2. (VOY episode: "Worst Case Scenario")

Larson at the tactical station

He manned the tactical station on the bridge when the crew engaged Species 8472 and Tuvok was part of the away team which beamed over to the Borg cube. Follwing his return, Larson manned a side station on the bridge. (VOY episode: "Scorpion")

Larson also served as relief tactical officer when Tuvok beamed again aboard the Borg cube. He was also present, working on an aft station, when the ship went into fluidic space and was attacked by Species 8472 bio-ships. (VOY episode: "Scorpion, Part II")

He manned an aft station on the bridge when Kes left the ship aboard a type 9 shuttlecraft and transported the Voyager 9,500 light years closer to home. (VOY episode: "The Gift")
