Dinah Laurel Lance (born November 15, 2349), she is known simply as Laurel Lance is a female Human who is a citizen of Star City and is one of its most beloved strippers and hookers working at Club Ace or 39s also known as the Red Deck Sex Club. She is the lover, girlfriend/close friend of Typhuss James Halliwell.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Dinah Laurel Lance was born on November 15, 2349 to Quentin and Dinah Lance and two years later, her younger sister, Sara, would be born. Growing up, Laurel was extremely close to her younger sister and the two were almost inseparable. She also idolised her mother as the vigilante known as the Black Canary and would always ask her about her adventures helping people.
One night, Laurel snuck down to the living room after her father had gone to bed to wait up for her mother to come back from patrolling the streets and when she did Dinah asked what Laurel was doing up so late. Laurel replied that she simply wanted to see her mother in the "cool" Black Canary suit. Dinah laughed and brought Laurel up to bed, tucking her in and kissing her goodnight on the forehead.
Tragically, when Laurel was only ten years old, her aunt's identity as the Canary was discovered and since vigilantism was illegal, the SCIS caught up to her and shot her down, killing her. This devastated Laurel and since her father had to say he knew nothing about his wife's aunt vigilantism to help with his mayoral campaign, he did nothing to the officers who did the act. This made Laurel despise her father and see him as a selfish and immoral human being.
Meeting Typhuss and becoming a stripper/hooker[]
In 2379, when Laurel was 30 years old she met Typhuss James Halliwell, a older man and began having sex with him. Sara asked Laurel if she could have a arrangement to have sex with him, Laurel agreed to this and soon after this Sara began having sex with him. Laurel later started working at Club Ace she became a stripper and hooker.
Becoming estranged from her parents[]
Quentin and Dinah found out that Laurel was working at Club Ace as a stripper and hooker, also that Laurel was dating a older man. Laurel and her parents had a fight about it with Laurel becoming estranged from her parents and not talking to them for years after this.
Marriage to Typhuss J. Kira[]
Laurel married Typhuss J. Kira on October 26th in the year 2394. Typhuss helped Laurel quit her job as a stripper and hooker so she could turn her life around.
Fixing a relationship with a mother[]
On November 27th in 2394, Laurel fixed her relationship with her mother Dinah Lance.
