Dinah Laurel Lance-Halliwell (born November 15th, 2349), better known as Laurel Lance or she is also better known as Laurel Lance-Halliwell is a female meta-human vigilante and who is a citizen of Star City on a Earth known as New Earth-2 Prime and one of its most beloved heroes and vigilantes, she is known as the Black Canary.
Laurel is the oldest daughter of the late Quentin Lance and Dinah Drake-Lance (after whom she was named), she is the older sister of Sara Lance and the longtime friend and wife of Typhuss James Halliwell and the mother of Mia Lance. She was a lawyer who held the position of assistant district attorney and was previously a legal aid attorney at CNRI. Laurel has since become the district attorney of Star City and one of its most beloved public servants.
Having always had a strong moral compass, Laurel fought for justice long before she put on a mask. However, after finding out that her sister is a vigilante known as the Canary, Laurel was inspired to take up vigilantism and received training from her close friend and Sara's former lover, Nyssa al Ghul, becoming one of the greatest heroes the world has ever known, the second Canary of her beloved city and her husband Typhuss is the vigilante known as the Green Arrow.
