Lucy attended the Starfleet Marine Corps Academy at West Point (where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission in the Starfleet Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant) and then Harvard University, where she completed a J.D./M.B.A. She then went to work for the Judge Advocate General's Corps as a trial counsel (prosecutor). In addition, she also served as a legal attaché on her father's staff. In 2381, Lucy held the rank of Major. (Star Trek: Resistance)
