Mar-vell class battleships utilise a relatively unique power source named a plasma reactor, fueled by deuterium, that produced the equivalent energy of eight warp cores. This energy is fed directly into all ship systems including sub-light and FTL engines.

It can travel through space at sub-light speeds via nuclear fusion engines in which the plasma from the fusion reactor powers a massive magnetic coil to propel the ship. It is a form of magnetohydrodynamic or magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters.
FTL[]
The class featured a coaxial warp drive that functioned by drawing in subatomic particles and reconfiguring their internal geometries. This allowed a vessel of this class the unique capability to fold the fabric of space, allowing it to travel very quickly across extremely large distances.
