SS Intrepid[]
Commander Taylor served on the Intrepid-class starship SS Intrepid. In an early battle with the Romulans, the Captain of the Intrepid was killed and, Taylor took command and returned the ship safely to Earth.
Marcia Taylor is a pacifist by nature – use of force only when necessary. She takes a different tact to most problems and is good with people. She doesn’t have the same command style as her brothers. Taylor has to prove something to herself – she is driven by this need. She is, in her own mind, in a competition with her brothers to prove that she is as good in a command situation and can live up to her family’s tradition of strong, reputable leaders. Marcia can best be described as an “reluctant hero,” especially after the incident on the Intrepid, where she had to take over the CO’s position. Command does not come naturally to Marcia.
Enterprise[]
In 2155, newly promoted Captain Taylor took command of Enterprise from newly promoted Commodore Jonathan Archer. Her first mission was to head to the border to search for a missing Vulcan cargo transport vessel then received a distress call from a Coalition battle group that was ambushed by a Romulan fleet and if it wasn't for Enterprise's assistance the fleet would of been destroyed. Personal history[]
Oldest of three brothers. Lost her husband James to a Romulan assault and had a young son named Steven. Her brothers Brian and Justin are all from a strong command background.
