In an alternate mirror universe, Marlena Moreau was a female Terran who served as a scientist aboard the ISS Enterprise. She had several elder siblings. Her father François Moreau regularly beat her as a child, particularly after he had been drinking.
ISS Enterprise[]
In 2264, Moreau helped Commander James T. Kirk gather information about Captain Christopher Pike of the ISS Enterprise. Kirk then used this information in the assassination of Pike, which led to Kirk's promotion to captain of the Enterprise.
By 2267, Moreau had also became Kirk's "captain's woman".
As the "captain's woman" she was privilege to some of Kirk's darkest secrets, including knowledge about the deadly Tantalus field which had helped him to retain command of the Enterprise. During the crossover incident which saw several crewmembers (including Kirk) being swapped with their primary universe counterparts, Moreau assisted James T. Kirk in overcoming Hikaru Sulu's assassination attempt by using the Tantalus field to eliminate his henchmen. She then assisted Commander Spock in returning the counterparts to their proper reality.
Spock's plan[]
In 2277, Saavik used the Tantalus field to assassinate Spock and was in turn murdered by Moreau. Fortunately, Moreau was later able to escape the Enterprise's destruction by escaping to a special shuttlecraft with the help of Lieutenant Xon.
The Maquis and death[]
After escaping from the Sol system, Moreau headed to Vulcan where she remained hidden by her father-in-law Sarek. Over the next twenty years, Moreau and Sarek established the Maquis resistance movement which was tasked with keeping Spock's ideals of reforming the Terran Empire alive as well as protecting those that had suffered at the tyrannical hand of the Empire.
Unfortunately, Moreau died during a raid on Rigel IV in 2298, but her legacy lived on way into the 24th century as the Maquis grew larger and contained supporters from the former Cardassian Union and the Romulan Star Empire which had been overrun by the Terran-Klingon alliance.
