In the mirror universe, Maximilian Forrest was a Terran male who lived in the mid 22nd century. He was that universe's counterpart of Admiral Maxwell Forrest. A member of the Imperial Starfleet, Forrest's final assignment was the commanding officer of the ISS Enterprise. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly")
Maximilian Forrest was, as typical for Imperial personnel, more harsh and stern than his counterpart in the Federation universe; however, Maximilian still seemed to honestly care about the welfare of his crew and his ship, and agonized over the loss of many Imperial lives when a Starfleet task force was destroyed fighting rebels at Tau Ceti.
Biography[]
Forrest had an often adversarial relationship with his first officer, Commander Jonathan Archer, which culminated in Archer leading a mutiny against Forrest and briefly taking command of the Enterprise. The mutiny was put down when Forrest's supporters freed him from the brig and retook the ship. As punishment, Forrest subjected Archer and Major Malcolm Reed to the agony booth. Archer spent over 10 hours in the booth.
Sent on a mission to retrieve an advanced starship, the USS Defiant, the Enterprise was trapped in a Tholian web. Forrest sacrificed himself by drawing enemy fire and allowing his crew to escape. He was presumed killed when the Enterprise exploded. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly")
- Maximilian Forrest is the most recent onscreen role of Trek veteran Vaughn Armstrong.
