In an alternate mirror universe, Neelix is a male Talaxian and was born on the moon of the planet Talax, Rinax, in the Delta Quadrant. He had at least two sisters, one was named Alixia. His whole family was killed by the Haakonians when they attacked the moon. Neelix was the lover of Kes. Kes was tortured for being viewed as ugly by the Kazon for a span of time; Neelix rescued her and while both were under pursuit by the Kazon, where they ran into the ISS Voyager. He joined the Voyager crew shortly after the ISS Voyager arrived in the Delta Quadrant. He became the security chief and was given the provisional rank of Lieutenant.
