The New Gotham Clock Tower is the base of operations of the Birds of Prey. The New Gotham Clock Tower is what the name implies - a large clock tower in New Gotham City.
The Clock Tower was fortified against earthquakes.
The tower was used since the beginning as Barbara Gordon's living place and base of operations. Barbara installed many computers that allowed her to begin her work as Oracle. In this job, Barbara was the main source of help for Green Arrow and Team Arrow providing information that they needed on their respective missions. (Birds of Prey)
History[]
The clocktower was used as a secret lair by Barbara Gordon and Helena Kyle in their efforts as vigilantes, with all of the technology provided by Bruce Wayne; Dinah Redmond soon joined them, becoming known as the Birds of Prey. Dinah often practiced throwing Batarangs for training, but was noticeably bad at it.
Guy was brought to the clocktower after being found by Helena. He was looked after and lived there for some time, before dying of old age.
Carolyn Lance hid in the Clocktower to be less of a target when hunted down by Hawke. However, she later left to make things up with her daughter Dinah before dying.
During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, a tall building was hit by an antimatter wave; it may have been the Clocktower. On the rooftops, Helena Kyle was trying to communicate with Oracle, when she saw a wave of antimatter consuming the universe; before witnessing New Gotham City of Earth-203 being destroyed, where she herself was also vaporized.[1]
