The class is capable of entering a planet's atmosphere and landing on the surface.
FTL[]
Unlike most FTL capable vessels in this universe, the Pecon class was equipped with a regular warp drive that works by generating warp fields to form a subspace bubble that enveloped the starship, distorting the local spacetime continuum and moving the starship at velocities that could greatly exceed the speed of light. The maximum speed is warp factor 7 with cruising speed being factor 4.
