Light shines into the window as Karen wakes up and she looks out the window at Earth as ships are flying by and we see the Federation dockyard.
INT. LIVING ROOM AREA/POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
After she got a shower she's drying off her hair.
[MONITOR BEEPS] As she sits on the couch.
ANGLE - MONITOR SCREEN [OPTICAL]
shows the office of Sam Cleveland.
SAM [monitor]: Morning
KAREN: It doesn't feel like morning.
SAM [monitor]: The first of our guests are due to arrive soon
KAREN: I'll be ready.

The Enterprise approaches Earth.
CPT. BRANSON'S [voice over]: Captain's log stardate 56674.8, After weeks of searching for the Anubis after she went missing the Enterprise has been recalled to Earth to celebrate the recent christening of the Polaris Orbital Hotel
INT. LIVING ROOM AREA/CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS, USS ENTERPRISE
John gets his dress uniform on as he looks into the mirror and then EXITS his quarters.
JUMP CUT TO:
INT. TRANSPORTER ROOM 2, USS ENTERPRISE-E
[TRANSPORTER ROOM 2 DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As Captain Branson enters as he sees both Commander Ro and Commander James.
CPT. BRANSON: Are you sure you two can manage without me?
CDR. RO: John, you deserve this break go have some fun.
John walks onto the pad.
CPT. BRANSON: Energize.
Chief Mackenzie taps commands into the transporter console and activates the transporter.
[TRANSPORTER BEAM HUMS] As Captain Branson dematerialized.
INT. MAIN HALLWAY, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
Everyone is gathered as John sees his girlfriend Jessica.
JOHN: Jessica?
Jessica turns to him.
JESSICA [smiles]: John, I'm glad that you made it.
JOHN: Me too I wouldn't miss this for the world.
Karen walks over to greet the two Captains.
KAREN: Captains Smith and Branson welcome to Polaris Orbital Hotel I'm Karen Baldwin the manager.
They shook her hand.
JOHN: We're glad to be here Ms. Baldwin.
JESSICA: This is a nice hotel that you've got here.
KAREN: Yeah, we're glad that you two can come here.
JOHN: We're glad that you invited Starfleet to see this place come online.
INT. BANQUET HALL, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
Everyone is having a party.
JOHN: We searched for three days but we found nothing not even a debris field.
JAMIE: So, you just gave up?
John looks at her.
JOHN: I'm not giving up Jamie we'll keep searching for Kyle no matter how long it takes if it takes a year then that's what we'll do.
Jessica looks at her.
JESSICA: John, not giving up on Kyle Jamie.
She leaves as John looks at Jessica.
CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM AREA/QUARTERS, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[QUARTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As both Jessica and John enter and they look around the room.
JESSICA: Big living area.
She walks to the bedroom area as John looks around and out at Earth and sees the Federation dockyard.
JOHN: Wish Kyle could be here to see this.
Jessica walks over to him.
JESSICA: You searched the sector where he went missing for three days John.
JOHN [sighs]: I know, I just wish we have something to go off of other then a registered gravitational surge where the Anubis was at.
Jessica walks over to the bedroom area.
JOHN: Jessica? Jessica?
INT. BEDROOM AREA/GUEST QUARTERS, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
She's sitting on the bed.
JESSICA: Let me de-stress you.
John walks over to her and they embraced.
EXT. UTOPIA PLANITIA FLEET YARDS/MARS ORBIT/SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
There's a lot of shipyards holding different class of starfleet vessels as the Enterprise sits in one drydock berth as worker bees swarm her.
INT. MAIN ENGINEERING, USS ENTERPRISE-E
Commander James and her staff are working on refitting the power systems, as Commander Ro enters.
CDR. RO: Report, Commander how are we doing?
Commander James looks at her.
LCDR. JAMES: So, far we're doing well with the refitting of our power systems we should be done in a few hours to swing by Earth and pick up the Captain.
CDR. RO: That's good, I'm sure the Captain is probably bored out of his mind at Polaris right now.
LCDR. JAMES: Yeah.
Commander Ro EXITS main engineering as Commander James resumes her work.
EXT. EARTH ORBIT, SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Polaris Orbital Hotel orbits Earth as we see a piece of debris from the Battle of Sector 001 in 2373 flies towards the orbital station and struck the port thruster as it fires.
INT. VARIOUS DECKS, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
Officers and guests are walking around the corridors as they stop and look around as they start to feel the shift in gravity.
INT. BEDROOM AREA/GUEST QUARTERS, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
John and Jessica are laying together in bed cuddling as Jessica looks at him.
JESSICA: Do you feel that?
John sits up.
JOHN: Yeah, its a shift in the gravity of the station.
They get up and get dressed in their Starfleet uniforms.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
TECH. ASENCIO: Commander, we've got a spike in the gravity its at .4 Gs and rising.
CDR. LAPORTE: What's causing it?
He taps commands into the console.
TECH. ASENCIO: Looks like one of the thrusters is online its not responding.
CDR. LAPORTE: Kill the power to the value.
Asencio taps commands into the console.
[CONSOLE BEEPS] As he shakes his head.
TECH. ASENCIO: Its still not responding.
TECH. REED: Well, the smaller rotational thrusters have engaged. Automatically. the verns might be able to counter the thrust.
Then Asencio looks up from his station.
TECH. ASENCIO: It looks like the value is stuck all the way open. the verns can't overpower it.
TECH. REED: The station's beginning to rotate faster.
POLARIS STATION CREWMEN: Centrifugal gravity is starting to rise, Commander.
Commander LaPorte tenses up.
[BLACKOUT END OF ACT 1]

EXT. EARTH ORBIT, SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Polaris Orbital Hotel is spinning.
INT. DECK 23 CORRIDOR, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
Both John and Jessica head to the lift.
JOHN: We've got to get to the bottom of this.
[HULL CREAKS]
[LIGHTS FLICKER]
JESSICA: That's not good.
JOHN: No its not come on.
They quickly head to the lift.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[COMMAND CENTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As both Sam and Karen arrived.
KAREN: What's wrong?
Commander LaPorte turns to both Karen and Sam and takes them to his office.
INT. READY ROOM, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[READY ROOM DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As the trio enters and he engages the privacy mode.
CDR. LAPORTE: One of the gravity thrusters has misfired and we can't shut it down.
SAM: What could of caused this?
CDR. LAPORTE: The debris from battlegroup Bravo when they fought a Borg cube in 2373.
SAM: I thought Starfleet cleared that debris field?
CDR. LAPORTE: Apparently not. The gravity is at manageable levels now, but it's rising.
KAREN: Okay, so what's the plan?
CDR. LAPORTE: We're going to an EVA to manually close the thruster value.
SAM: A spacewalk? Is that wise?
CDR. LAPORTE: If we don't get that thruster off the gravity will rise to uncomfortable levels.
Both Sam and Karen look at each other.
EXT. SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise heads back to Earth.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE-E
LT. CARLSON: We're about a few hours away from Earth ma'am.
CDR. RO: Thank you Lieutenant Carlson.
Lieutenant Mason looks at his console as he's examining the read out and reports.
LT. MASON: Commander, I'm detecting a low level transmission on a subspace bandwidth that matches an EVA suits com transmission.
CDR. RO: Let's hear it.
He taps commands into the tactical console.
TECH. REED [com voice]: This is Reed to Command we're on approach to the thruster value now
CDR. LAPORTE [com voice]: Acknowledged Mister Reed be careful
EXT. OUTER HULL OF POLARIS
Both Ascenio and Reed are making their way to the thruster value hatch.
TECH. REED: Joaquin, watch out for the cable if it gets loose it'll be very bad.
TECH. ASCENIO: Got it Cy.
They walk along the hull.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[COMMAND CENTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As Captain Towe and Commander Conner enters.
CPT. TOWE: Commander, you've got to recall those men.
CDR. LAPORTE: On what grounds Captain?
CPT. TOWE: My crew and I have encountered situations like this we lost two engineers and nearly lost the former commander of my engineering team.
CDR. LAPORTE [to com]: Reed, Ascenio get back to the airlock.
EXT. OUTER HULL OF POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
TECH. REED [to com]: Yes, sir.
They start to turn back but then the stabilizer cable snaps and moves towards them and knocks them off the outer hull.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE-E
Commander Ro looks over at Lieutenant Mason and then at Lieutenant Carlson.
CDR. RO: Kara, get us back to Earth as quickly as you can.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, Commander.
Lieutenant Carlson works the helm station.
Commander Ro sits in the Captain's chair worried.
[BLACKOUT, END OF ACT 2]
Act 3[]
FADE IN
INT. DECK 23 CORRIDOR, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
John and Jessica are heading to the elevator.
JOHN: We're almost there.
JESSICA: John, do you hear something?
[HULL CREAKING] As he looks at her.
[BOOM!] As one of the cables come crashing through the bulkheads throwing both John and Jessica to the deck as debris and sparks rain down and wires hang.
[KLAXONS BLARING]
[WHOOSHING SOUND] As atmosphere starts being vented out of the breaches as John hangs onto the Jessica's hand as he pulls her to him.
JOHN: I GOT YOU AND I'LL NEVER LET GO!
He pulls her to him and he holds her as they enter the lift.
INT. ELEVATOR CART, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
CPT. BRANSON: Command center!
[LIFT STARTS MOVING] As they look at each other.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
[COMMAND CENTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As both John and Jessica enters.
CPT. BRANSON: Commander LaPorte we've got to evacuate this hotel now!
CDR. LAPORTE: We can't we don't have enough shuttles.
CPT. BRANSON: We've got two California-class vessels that can take on people start the evacuation now before the gravity becomes too dangerous to handle.
Karen nods at him.
CDR. LAPORTE [to com]: This is Commander Rich LaPorte to all hands and guests evacuate the Orbital hotel in a calm and timely fashion to both the Yorktown and Harrison thank you.
INT. VARIOUS DECKS POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
Guests and personnel are evacuating to either the Harrison or Yorktown.
INT. DECK 12 CORRIDOR, AIRLOCK, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[ELEVATOR DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As the guests and personnel led by Sam exit the lift as they enter the airlock to board the USS Harrison-A as Captain Towe is ushering people aboard her ship.
CPT. TOWE: Is that everyone?
SAM: There's a few more to get.
[BOOM!] As they brace themselves.
SAM: I'll get more people have your ship ready to depart.
Sam enters the lift and the doors closed.
INT. ELEVATOR CART, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
Sam stands in the middle as it heads up to the pick up more evacuatees.
[ELEVATOR CREAKS]
[LIGHTS FLICKERING]
As Sam looks around.
[CABLE SNAPS] As he's pinned to the ceiling as the elevator drops.
INT. DECK 12 CORRIDOR/AIRLOCK, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
[MUFFLED BOOM] As Karen walks to the doors.
KAREN: Help with these doors.
Commander Conner helps her.
KAREN: SAM! Hang on!
They forced the doors opened but they see Sam's dead body.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
CREWMEN WHITNEY: Gravity is at .23 Gs and rising!
CPT. BRANSON: Where's the emergency systems?
CDR. LAPORTE: The center core.
CPT. BRANSON: Where is it?
Commander LAPorte hands him a PADD and John goes to stop the gravity from crushing anyone else.
INT. PRIMARY CORE, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
John looks up then looks down and starts climbing up the ladder with the PADD in hand.

EXT. EARTH ORBIT, SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise approaches Polaris as debris floats around the outpost as Starfleet vessels and shuttles evacuate the personnel and guests.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE [RED ALERT]
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the Polaris Orbital station.
CDR. RO: Mister Mason open a channel.
Lieutenant Mason taps commands into the tactical console.
[COM CHIRPS] As Lieutenant Mason looks up from his station.
LT. MASON: Channel opened Commander.
CDR. RO [to com]: This is Commander Ro Laren first officer of the Starship Enterprise to Polaris Orbital Station do you read?
ANGLE - TRANSPARENT VIEWER [OPTICAL]
shows the command center of the Polaris station.
CDR. LAPORTE [viewer]: Enterprise, its good to see you we've got a huge problem
CDR. RO: We can see that Commander what can we do to help?
CPT. SMITH [viewer]: Ro, John went to the primary core to stop the gravity from rising over here
Ro turns to Commander T'Mir who turns to her console and taps commands into the science console.
CDR. T'MIR: I have him he's in the primary core.
INT. PRIMARY JUNCTION, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
John climbs up the ladder and reaches the panel and opens it and puts the PADD on the table as John tapped his combadge.
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: I'm at the console now what.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
CPT. SMITH [to com]: You've to diver the secondary relays.
INT. PRIMARY JUNCTION, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
CPT. SMITH [com voice]: The panel to the left
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: I see them.
John gets to work on diverting the secondary relays.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
CREWMEN WHITNEY: Gravity is at .28 Gs and rising! He's done it he's isolated the modules.
CPT. SMITH: But what about Captain Branson?
Crewmen Whitney taps commands into the console.
CREWMEN WHITNEY: He's not safe the gravity in the primary junction is at 24 Gs and rising to dangerous levels.
INT. PRIMARY JUNCTION, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL [RED ALERT]
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: How much time do I have?
CREWMEN WHITNEY [com voice]: Less then a minute
John thinks and knows he's not gonna make it.
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: Branson to Ro.
CDR. RO [com voice]: Go ahead
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: Can you get.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE-E [RED ALERT]
CPT. BRANSON [com voice]: A transporter lock on me?
Ro turns to Commander James who shakes her head.
CDR. RO [to com]: Negative Captain there's too much interference from the core.
INT. PRIMARY CORE, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
CDR. RO [com voice]: You'll need to get further away
John's thinking.
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: Jack arm the phasers. Target exterior hatch.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE-E [RED ALERT]
CPT. BRANSON [com voice]: J-9
Commander Ro gets up from the Captain's chair.
CDR. RO [to com]: Captain, that will cause the core to decompress.
CPT. BRANSON [com voice]: That's the idea. Standby with the transporter. You'll have a few seconds
CDR. RO: Acknowledged sir.
INT. PRIMARY CORE, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
COMPUTER VOICE [com voice]: Gravity levels at 3.45 Gs and rising
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: RO!
CDR. RO [com voice]: We're ready
CPT. BRANSON [to com]: Fire!
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The port ventral phaser strip powers up and the orange energy beam lances out and struck the hatch as air starts rushing out.
INT. PRIMARY CORE, POLARIS ORBITAL HOTEL
The decompression vents John out of the tube.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
John is vented out into space as he's dematerialized in the nick of time.
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE [RED ALERT]
CDR. RO [to com]: Ro to transporter room do you have him?
INT. TRANSPORTER ROOM 2, USS ENTERPRISE
CHIEF MACKENZIE [to com]: Yeah, we need a medic down here!
She rushes over to John who's covered in frost.
CDR. RO [com voice]: They're on the way
EXT. EARTH ORBIT, SOL SYSTEM [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise is next to Polaris as worker bees and shuttles are repairing the damage the outpost sustained.
CDR. RO [voice over]: First officer's log supplemental, After evacuating the rest of the Polaris crew we're providing help to repair the station, the Captain doesn't show no signs of prolong exposure to space he's currently recovering in sickbay
INT. SICKBAY, USS ENTERPRISE-E
Doctor Carlson has a medical tricorder out and is scanning Captain Branson.
CPT. BRANSON: How long will it be until the station is up and running?
LCDR. JAMES: According to Commander LaForge at least a few more months the damage was severe.
CDR. RO: Mister Cleveland's body was taken back to Earth Ms. Baldwin has returned to Earth for a full debrief on the situation.
DR. CARLSON: It's a damn shame that happened they were what days away from a full operational status and a piece of debris from the Battle of Sector 001 had to ruin it.
CPT. BRANSON: Well, at least they can start over.
DR. CARLSON: You're clear Captain just take it easy for the next few days.
CPT. BRANSON: Thanks Steven.
John EXITS sickbay.
CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM AREA/CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS, USS ENTERPRISE-E
[QUARTER DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As John enters as Jessica rushes up to him and they hug each other.
JOHN: I'm good sweetie I'm fine.
JESSICA: I was so worried about you when we didn't hear from you in the primary core.
JOHN: I'm all right a bit frosty but I'll make a full recovery.
Jessica walks back to the couch John walks with her.
JOHN: There's something that I've been wanting to ask you for a long time and I'm not sure if you'd want to just after a divorce from your last husband.
Jessica looks at him.
JESSICA [smiles]: John, are you asking me something?
John gets a small box.
JOHN: I forgot to take this with me.
John gets down on one knee as Jessica covers her mouth.
JOHN: Jessica Nicole Smith you've made me the most happiest man in the entire galaxy would you do me the honor of becoming my bride?
JESSICA [nods, smiles]: Yes.
John puts the ring on her ring finger and they kiss.
CUT TO:
INT. MAIN BRIDGE, USS ENTERPRISE-E
[TURBOLIFT DOORS WHOOSHED OPENED] As John walks onto the bridge.
[THE BRIDGE CREW CLAPS] As John looks at them.
JOHN: You told them didn't you?
JULIA: Well, Jess told me and I told Commander Ro.
Julia walks to the ops console as John raises his hands.
CPT. BRANSON [smiles]: Thank you all I am very happy but for now let's get back to work Lieutenant Carlson set course 2-3-4 mark 12 warp seven.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir.
Lieutenant Carlson taps commands into the helm station.
CPT. BRANSON: Hit it.
She activates the warp drive.
EXT. SPACE [OPTICAL]
The Enterprise goes into a great arc and her warp engines power up and she shot off into the distance into a burst of light.
