The Reed was a Federation Type 4 shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet in the 24th century. The shuttle was named after Malcolm Reed, a 22nd century United Earth Starfleet officer.

Before being owned by the Halliwell family the Reed was assigned to a Starfleet starship. By 2354 the Reed was owned by the Halliwell family.
In 2357 the Reed was used by Typhuss James Halliwell, taking with him , his wife Samantha Carter, his cousins Lois Lane, Chloe Sullivan and his sisters Phoebe Halliwell and Piper Halliwell to Archer IV on a camping trip.
