The Republic was a United Earth Starfleet Intrepid class vessel in service during the 2150s and was under the command of Captain Jennings.
History[]
Erika Hernandez served as executive officer on the Republic prior to taking command of the Columbia in 2154. Captain Jennings told her that she could have whatever she wanted when she transferred, so she took the Republic's cook.
In 2159, the Republic, still under the command of Captain Jennings escorted a supply convoy with fellow Starfleet ships Enterprise and Intrepid. On November 21, the Romulan warbird IRW Aoi'fvienn attacked the convoy, and disabled the two Intrepid-class ships. Among the injured was Lieutenant Travis Mayweather, who now served on Republic as helmsman.
