Darth Rey, born Rey Palpatine, is a power-sensitive Human female clone who served the Der'kal Eternal during the 24th century. She is a dark clone of Rey created by the Der'kal in 2358, Rey is Empress of the New Der'kal Empire.
In 2397, Rey killed her former master, Kylo Ren during her rebellion against the Der'kal Empire. Rey later formed the New Der'kal Empire in the aftermath of Kylo's death and the collapse of the Der'kal Empire, Rey declaring herself Empress, attacked the Der'kal fleet and forced the Empire's military to recognize her as leader. Rey and her new Empire attacked the Federation, starting a new war, the Galactic War.
In 2399, Rey was killed by Reva Sevander and Sariss before the start of the Third Federation-Der'kal War.
