SC-4 (registry SC-04) was a 24th century Federation auxiliary craft, a Type-18H shuttlecraft in Starfleet service in the late 2370s decade. Around that time, SC-4 was assigned to Starfleet Command. (SOTL calendar: Ships of the Line 2020)
History and disposition[]
In late 2377, the Intrepid-class stranded in the Delta Quadrant, USS Voyager, was outfitted with 25th century technology acquired from a Type-18H shuttlecraft. The shuttle's pilot, Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway, also helped return Voyager to Earth, and sacrificed herself and her vessel SC-4 in the process. (VOY episode & novelization: Endgame)
Voyager returned to service in January 2378, after its futuristic technology had been removed under Project Full Circle. (VOY novel: The Farther Shore)
A present-day SC-4 entered service. At some point during local daytime, SC-4 soared above the Starfleet Command building in San Francisco while USS Voyager, USS Defiant and a unnamed Sh'Raan-class ringships hovered above the ground.
