In an alternate mirror universe, Spock was a half-Vulcan, half-Terran hybrid male who lived during the 23rd century.
Imperial Starfleet[]
In 2249, he decided to enter the Imperial Starfleet of the Terran Empire and eventually rose to position as first officer of the ISS Enterprise, under the command by Captain James T. Kirk in 2266. In 2267, he became the captain of the Enterprise when Kirk was promoted to Admiral. In 2277, Grand Admiral Zhao Sheng tried to kill Spock, but Admiral Kirk came to Spock's rescue and killed Grand Admiral Zhao Sheng. In gratitude, Spock became Kirk's first officer again while Kirk became captain of the Enterprise once again. In 2277, the Enterprise was destroyed by a Klingon bird-of-prey. Following this, Spock became first officer and science officer of the ISS Enterprise-A under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.
By 2277, Ensign Saavik had been assigned to the ISS Enterprise-A, under the command of Captain Kirk, as alpha shift flight controller after graduating from Starfleet Academy. Shortly after she formed part of the landing party, alongside Lieutenants Xon, Solok and Stang, that accompanied Spock and Commander Willard Decker to the surface of Deneva for a Starfleet Command meeting.
Unfortunately, this was a set-up by Grand Admiral Matthew Decker to assassinate Spock. Fortunately, Spock and his Vulcan cohorts were aware of the ambush and were able to subdue their would-be assassins. Realizing Willard Decker's part in the deception, Saavik and her fellow Vulcans stabbed Decker on Spock's order.
Shortly after Spock's successful assassination of Matt Decker and rise to Grand Admiral of the Imperial Starfleet, Empress Sarah Sato ordered the Enterprise-A to proceed to Earth so she could officially endorse his promotion.
Sensing that this was merely a prelude to his assassination, Spock took Saavik in his confidence and told her about the Tantalus field device that had helped him in his rise to prominence. Although he was taking a risk, Spock told Saavik to use the device to kill Empress Sato and her Imperial guards should they make a move against him.
Saavik found that she couldn't support Spock's illogical mission to stage a coup and used the Tantalus field to kill Spock. Unbeknown to Saavik, Spock's wife, Marlena Moreau, was watching from the shadows and shot Saavik dead with her phaser though her intervention was too late to save her husband.
