Star Fleet Battle Group Omega
Star Fleet Battle Group Omega was a task force, a battle group military unit of Federation starships deployed in Sector 1045 by Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway in 2378, and was charged with preventing the Reman warbird Scimitar from reaching Earth and launching a deadly thalaron weapon.
The USS Enterprise-E was to rendezvous with the Battle Group, but was instead ambushed in the Bassen Rift by the Scimitar. Fortunately, the Enterprise was able to destroy the warbird at the Battle of Bassen Rift, and the Battle Group didn't engage. (TNG movie: Star Trek Nemesis)
