A Super City-ship is a mobile city used by the Ancients. With roughly the same internal space as is found on Manhattan island, Super City-ships are some of the largest vessels in the known universe. They are also formidable battleships, although their effectiveness is severely reduced when in space.
The Ancients were well known for being the builders of both the Stargates and Atlantis. They were also known as the most technologically advanced and most powerful race that ever existed. The Ancients also were known to have interbred with the Humans when they were forced to return to Earth prior to their failed war with the Wraith. The Ancients thereby passed on the ATA gene which grants users that were known to be born with it, the ability to operate Ancient technology. Prior to their arriving in the Pegasus galaxy, the Ancients settled on the planet they named Lantea . This became their new home while they were in Pegasus. The Atlantis database told of another City-Ship only greater in size and vastly more advanced in that, it's technology was vastly superior to that of Atlantis. The city was later deserted due to its vast amounts of power needed to keep it operational, and so the Ancients later returned to Atlantis and removed the information regarding this Ancient city's existence so that, in the event that something were to happen and the city were to fall into enemy hands, the enemy would be unable to find it and gain access to its power. This massive city had power and technology that would have allowed the Ancients to win their war with the Wraith. But after the Ancients ascended and those who hadn't but instead returned to Earth left this super city to be lost with time.
Technology[]
The technology of the Ancients super City was by far the most advanced and had capabilities that their capital Atlantis didn't have. The purpose of the Ancients deciding to leave this city and return to Atlantis are speculative at best. However, best guess would be that; if the city were to fall into enemy hands say the Wraith for instance, then the tide of power so to speak would change dramatically. This is why the Ancients decided to leave and return to Atlantis where they proceeded to purge the information about its existence from the Atlantis database.

- Super Enhanced Intergalactic hyperdrive
Enhanced ZPMs[]
Enhanced ZPMs, although having the same outward appearance of that of a normal ZPM, are by no means like the ones which powers Atlantis. Enhanced ZPMs or (Enhanced Zero Point Modules) have far greater redundancies built into them which is something future "'ZPMs"' wouldn't have; it's these powerful redundancy systems that allow the E-ZPMs to handle enormous amounts of stress. The E-ZPM produces far greater amounts of energy than a normal ZPM. It is this reason; therefore, why it can power the super City and it's all encompassing shield and still is capable of providing an indefinite amount of energy flowing throughout the super city even when, it's under enormous strain from a constant enemies orbital weapons fire. The E-ZPMs are stored in the ZPM room.
The power required for the massive super Ancient city to operate normally is way beyond that of what a normal ZPM could provide. This is a testament to the sheer complexity of the super massive Ancient city. A normal ZPM would not be able to produce–let alone provide the sheer amount of energy that is needed for the massive super city to function normally. It is because of this why that a more advanced power grid is designed and is used to supply and is regulated throughout the entire massive city.
Enhanced power conduits[]
The enhanced power conduits of the Ancient super city are what monitors and regulates the flow of power throughout the city. These conduits–like the EZPMs–are equipped with a lot of redundant systems which helps it to regulate the flow of power in–and throughout the super city. These conduits are able to compensate for any and all irregularities in the flow of power in the city.

The super city built by the Ancients was also equipped with a far greater–more powerful shield. This shield was impenetrable due to the fact that it was being powered by three enhanced ZPMs. It was more powerful than the Atlantis' shield, it is this reason why–based on only speculation that the Ancients decided to leave this massive city for a smaller one. Maybe they felt the power was too great and that if the city were to fall into the wrong hands then the galaxy would be in danger.
Super enhanced stardrive[]
The super enhanced Ancient stardrive was also one of the marvels of this super city. However, it is not known whether or not it was ever used–the primary purpose of this massive super city was and still is a mystery and may never be fully answered since the Ancients have either died or ascended. If it was installed by the Ancients then it is most likely that it can propel the massive city through hyperspace.
