In the dark mirror universe, the Terran-Cardassian War was a conflict between the Terran Empire and the Cardassian Union from 2355 to 2375, with the help of the new allies of the Terran Empire, the Dominion from the Gamma Quadrant. In late 2375, the war ended when Cardassia was devastated after both Terran and Dominion forces bombard the planet's surface and turned Cardassia into a barren wasteland, and the Cardassian Union had surrendered and became slaves.
