In the mirror universe, Travis Mayweather (2126-2157) was a Terran male in the service of the MACO and Imperial Starfleet of the Terran Empire during the mid 22nd century. Mayweather was crucial to the rise and subsequent return to power of Empress Hoshi Sato.

History[]

Mayweather held the rank of sergeant in the mid-2150s, and was a member of the MACO contingent assigned to the starship ISS Enterprise. He was made the personal guard of Commander Jonathan Archer after he assisted in Archer's mutiny against Captain Maximilian Forrest. Mayweather was assigned to the assault team that boarded and stole the future starship USS Defiant from Tholian control. He remained loyal to Archer, even as Archer openly declared his desire to seize the Terran Empire for himself. However, sometime before reaching {Earth, Mayweather was seduced by Lieutenant Hoshi Sato, and played a role in Sato's poisoning of Archer. He stood behind Sato on the bridge of the Defiant as she transmitted her demand for the immediate surrender of the Imperial Starfleet. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly")

In gratitude for helping to place her on the imperial throne, the newly crowned Empress Sato promoted Mayweather to captain, putting him in command of the Defiant, much to the resentment of his former superior, Major Malcolm Reed. In 2155, Mayweather was instrumental in rescuing Empress Sato from a rebel faction led by T'Pau and restoring her to power. (ENT - Mirror Universe novel: Age of the Empress)

Two years after these events, Mayweather was angrily ordered by Sato to hunt down the rogue clone of Jonathan Archer, a mission which he failed to accomplish. Mayweather fell irrevocably out of the Empress' favor and was disintegrated, and being replaced by A.G. Robinson as captain of the Defiant. (ENT - Mirror Universe short story: "Nobunaga")
