The United Earth Defense Force Headquarters, simply referred to as UEDF Headquarters is the central base of operations for the Earth Defense Force during the 32nd century. In 3190, the starbase had joint custody between the United Earth Defense Force and Starfleet.

Design[]
The station had an enormous structure, one of the largest starbases ever produced in Earth history, capable of housing a great many heavy cruisers for an extended period of time, at least twenty four starships. It used a hub and spoke design with its massive central core, flanked by three main wings. These wings were capable of docking and accommodating EDF starships with shuttlebays and two prong-like gravitational field extensions at which vessels docked.
Special unmanned spacecraft orbit the dockyard to repair damaged vessels and also had numerous automated scout drones. The station has a complement of 80,000 including crew and civilians with a metric mass of 45 million tonnes, 260 decks, and a diameter of several thousand meters. After Earth rejoined the Federation, the structure was reinforced and visually appeared more robust, sturdier, with darker hull panels designed to withstand more force without active shields as well as underwent several cosmetic updates.

Though not a starship, the base was nevertheless equipped with a secondary deflector grid separate from the tactical deflector and incorporates redundant tractor beam emitters which feed into a 2,600 milli-cochrane subspace field distortion to provide additional protection.

It is equipped with sixty six torpedo launch rotary banks that shoot out self-propelled torpedoes each armed with zero-point-energy charged quantum plasma detonation warheads. The complement of which is fifteen thousand.

Furthermore, the station is armed with 36 phaser emitter array segments that fire pulsed beams of tetryon-plasma discharge at a target that emits multiflux gamma radiation while in use and is siphoned directly from surrounding subspace before being "washed" in the electro-plasma of the polaron-managed station EPS grid thereby creating said tetryon plasma.
Additionally, in accordance with standard galactic protocol, it utilised an automatic frequency rotation program to continuously and periodically alter the vibrational component of the phasers thereby combating enemy adaptation.

Boasting a prestigious class-11 generator system, UEDF headquarters maintain a high-capacity deflector shield grid to protect itself from various threats, such as impacts from bolides and debris, various space-related and stellar phenomena as well as hostile weaponry. It can withstand 8,640,000 TeraJoules before needing to be reset. Furthermore, the deflectors are comprised out of multi-layered energetic distortion containing a high concentration of graviton particles and are equipped with multi-spectrum, metaphasic, metaphysic, and temporal shielding sub-frequencies.
The class-11 possessed regenerative sub-routines managed by a bio-neural gel core assembly and the resident magnetic harmonic resonance is self-modulating therefore making it harder to determine the static frequency of the shield perimeter thus making it last longer in combat and more difficult to pierce through clever antics.
