The Athena class is a class of deep space carrier developed by the Federation in the aftermath of the Federation-Der'kal War to reaffirm Earth's military power. Utilising many advances from the Asgard the Athena-class represents a major leap-forward in ship design. The BC-305 is the successor to the Daedalus-class and the most advanced series of vessels in their fleet, capable of rivaling even the most powerful alien starships.
