The USS Aurora (NCC-16879) was a Daedalus-class battlecruiser in the 24th century. Under the command of Colonel Via Sanders. The USS Aurora was destroyed during the Battle of Kaleb IV in 2385 during the Xindi War.
The second MBP-305, originally in the service of China and named Mao Zedong, was rechristened Aurora in honor of the lost vessel when its captain took command of it in early 2385.
