The USS Defiant was an NX-class starship in service to the United Earth Starfleet in the mid-22nd century. It was one of the four remaining NX-class ships in active service in 2160.
Along with the USS Enterprise and USS Atlantis, the Defiant took part in the Battle of Cheron. It was destroyed above Cheron by Romulan warbirds.
