The USS Enterprise was a sailing vessel from the planet Earth. She was the third American schooner named Enterprise, but the first to serve the United States Navy. She operated early in the 19th century.
Service history[]
Enterprise was in service for a quarter of a century. She was 85 feet long and was known as the "Lucky Little Enterprise." She saw action in an undeclared war with France and during the War of 1812. (TOS novel: Final Frontier)

Legacy[]
In the year 2275, the original, hand-painted wooden figurehead from Enterprise, in the shape of a dolphin's head, was displayed aboard the Federation Starfleet starship USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
