The USS Falchion was a Federation Saber-class light cruiser in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century.
History[]
In September of the year 2385, the Falchion was involved in combat operations in orbit of Andor alongside the USS Warspite. The two ships engaged the USS Aventine, USS Intrepid-A and Andorian Imperial Guard vessels in an attempt to capture the renegade Doctor Julian Bashir who had committed treason and was wanted by the Federation President Pro Tempore, Ishan Anjar. The ship was rendered useless in the situation by the Aventine, when her main antenna was taken offline. (ST - The Fall novel: A Ceremony of Losses)
