The USS Mayflower (NCC-1621) was a Federation Mayflower class starship in service to Starfleet in the mid-23rd century. In 2258 of an alternate reality brought about by Nero's interference, the Mayflower was destroyed by the Narada during a mission to investigate a lightning storm in space in the proximity of Vulcan. The Enterprise scraped the saucer section of the Mayflower's debris as it came out of warp.
